Esta semana foi divulgada a lista das nove universidades que estão sob vigilância do MEC. Elas tiveram pelo segundo ano consecutivo conceito 1 e 2 nas provas de avaliação do Índice Geral de Cursos (IGC)
Uma saída para estas e outras instituições de ensino que querem melhorar seu conceito e a qualidade de ensino oferecido é utilizar a tecnologia como aliada.
A tecnologia pode ser incorporada no ensino tradicional de várias maneiras na sala de aula e em trabalhos extraclasse. O professor pode trazer a internet e o mundo virtual para suas aulas dependendo do assunto delas ou pode utilizar uma intranet ou rede social para fazer contato com seus alunos e manter discussões fora do ambiente escolar.
Também é possível incorporar elementos de ensino a distância ou cursos inteiros na modalidade e-learning. É possível que o aluno desenvolva trabalhos acadêmicos baseados em conteúdos online ou até assista a módulos ou cursos inteiros pela internet.
As instituições que precisam melhorar seu conceito, segundo a secretária de Ensino Superior do MEC, Maria Paula Dallari Bucci, “estão em situação crítica. Nas últimas avaliações tiraram nota dois”.
